Striper's are starting to show uip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Folks,

Stripers seem to be making their appearance at the mouth of

Delaware Bay and in Indian River Inlet. Live eels, live spot, black

salties, and bucktail w/worm are producing fish. Tog fishing in the

inlet and at Massey’s Ditch is still going on and green crabs or sand

fleas. Weather has kept most folks from fishing the ocean or the inshore

wrecks. In the DMS Intra-Club Tournament Saturday, Shawn Smith

took a 41 inch striper. Lots of ling cod were also taken from the beaches

on Saturday. Striper fishing should start to really pick up as the fish

migrate and take to the normal feeding areas along our coast. Those

of you looking to try some trolling for stipers, give the Mann’s Stretch

15’s, 20’s, and 25’s a try. Bluefish should start showing up along the

coast very shortly. Surf fishing or trolling the coastline are great ways

to get in on the action. Hopefully we will have lots more to report soon.

‘Til next time, Have Fun and Be Safe !!!!

P.S. Look for an updated report about mid-week.
