Weather Improves, So Does Fishing!!!!
The weather cleared and not only did the sun shine, but so did
the fishing. Anglers fishing the inshore wrecks found some hungry
sea bass and tog. The outer wall at Lewes also provided some tog
action to those soaking green crabs and sand fleas. Gil Waddington
and crew scored some tog using green crabs. Capt. Chuck Cook of
“ First Light Charters” was fishing with Richard Seagraves on an inshore
wreck and had a nice catch of sea bass with a 3 pound 9oz fish taking
the heavyweight title. Indian River Inlet is still providing action with
bluefish and short stripers. The number of keeper stripers should be
on the rise with falling water temps. Back Bay action consists of a few
flounder and still a few croakers.
'Til next week, have Fun and Be Safe !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
