Hi Folks, Check the forcast folks! NO SNOW..some rain, a few stripers, and a fair amount of flounder. Spring is here. The VFW Slough has been producing some flounder the last few days. Frozen smelt seems to be a hot bait. Joe Irwin, Don Falkner, and Rick Queitsch fished the Slough to take home 2 at 19.5 inches, 1 at 21.5 ,and 1 at 23.5 inches and 2 lost at the boat. Other reports from that same area have flatties being taken to 27 inches. George Mood used bloodworms to take a 28 inch striper from the beach on Saturday after the beachgrass planting. Signs of great things ahead. We are now open 8 AM to 6 PM Tues, Wed, and Thurs., 7AM to 6PM Fri and Sat, and 7AM to 3 PM Sun and closed on Mondays. Keep April 17 and 18 open as we are having a Sping Clean-Up Sale. Since we could not get to the OC Boat Show and Salisbury Expo was cancelled we are offering all those items plus more on sale that weekend. We also have had requests to have a Flea Market type event so if you want set up a table and get rid of you old tackle you are welcome to so that weekend.
