Hi Folks,

Everyone is waiting for the stripers to arrive. Indian River Inlet is holding plenty of shorties along with bluefish. Don and Tina Thomas fished the Inlet Saturday and scored short stripers. Massey’s Ditch is still holding tog, short stripers, and bluefish. Remember the flounder season is closed as of Oct. 24th and sea bass reopens Nov.1st. Capt. Chuck Cook of First Light Charters has been putting his parties on tog and triggerfish in 85 feet of water. Take a look at delfish.net for some good info and freshwater video. We will be adding saltwater video in the future.

Capt. Bill Baker tells us Larry Grimm, Millsboro, weighed in a 7.50 pound, 24" flounder  caught on clam while fishing on the "Thelma Dale". Tom Bailor and Gene McMillan caught 2 bushels of large #1 crabs at Gull Point. Received an email from Jim Bender:  "I was drifting Baker's Channel opposite the island from Massey's Ditch last Saturday and pulled in a 23" flounder using a  flashy green/silver Mylar bucktail behind a spoon with a live minnow."  "We just got back from Site7 with 17 tog that we caught on green crabs.  .We only fished about an hour. .There was a barge there unloading tons of concrete between Site 6 & 7."  Frank, Mike & John on "REELCRAZY".. Nate Graulich was fishing IRI using a Tsunami lure and boated a 3.50#, 21" speckled trout with a 13" girth.
Bob Adams, from Bill's Sport Shop, and Jim Schafer fishing the outgoing tide at IRI Sunday afternoon and caught a 31" striper as well as 3 other 24 to 26" stripers on bucktails.

‘Til next week, have Fun and Be Safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
