tHE STRIPERS ARE STARTING TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE!!!!
Hi Folks, Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Well we finally weighed in our first striper of the season.Joe Marslett
of Harbeson, De. used a Black Salty to trick his 31 pound linesider. It measured
in at 41.5 inches. Nice job Joe. Will Ellis of Dover, De. fished the Haystacks
with Jesse Stricker and they took some real nice tog. Will weighed in a citation
7 pound 9oz tog that measured 21.5 inches. Capt. Charles Cook weighed in a
3 pound 10 oz sea bass he took while fishing a wreck. Massey's Ditch is still
providing plenty of tog action. Most fish caught are throw-backs but there are a
few keepers mixed in. A few short stripers are also being taken in the ditch. Indian
River Inlet is providing tog and striper action also. This should surely improve as water
temps fall. Capt. Chuck of First Light Charters and Ron Smith fished a wreck in 100 feet of water and caught a boat load of quality sea bass up to3lbs.10oz.
They then went inside and ended the day catching tog on a inshore wreck.
First Light Charters will concentrate the remainder of the season targeting
stripers on inshore locations and tog on inshore wrecks.
‘Til next week, Have Fun and Be Safe !!!!!!!!!!!
